Solar Eclipse…Your Destiny Awaits!!!
We are going to end the month of April with the intense energy of A Solar Eclipse!!! April 30th is probably the most anticipated lunation this year! We have a Solar Eclipse, New Moon, in the earthy and sensual sign of Taurus. This is the beginning of a new cycle of the North and South nodes. The North Node is now in Taurus… where we need to move towards, and the South Node is in the deep and watery sign of Scorpio…this is an area of what needs to be cleared out and left behind.
This eclipse is the first in a series of eclipses that will continue until the end of 2023. It will crack open anything that you are holding back and onto. This eclipse is about our destiny and heading towards it. It is activating our hidden gifts, clearing karma and fate. It is about a push and pull between material vs. spiritual, what belongs to you vs someone else, your resources vs others. Me vs. We.
At this time, expect sudden endings and beginnings. Eclipses are meant to realign us back on our true path. They are portals for Karma, Fate and Gates of Consciousness. Expect this time to be a course corrector for the collective and on a personal level.
Moving forward for the month of May, we start off with a beautiful stellium of planets…Neptune, Jupiter, Mars and Venus all working in unison in the watery and intuitive sign of Pisces. With Jupiter, the planet of gifts and expansion, Venus, the planet of love and values, collaborating with driven Mars and dreamy Neptune…expect blessings and abundance. Together this planetary energy can be used to help each of us find our purpose and drive. To really see what is needed to manifest our dreams into a reality.
Next, on May 10th, 2022, Mercury will station retrograde. It will be here through June 3rd 2022. Mercury is the planet that rules technology, travel and communication. Mercury will start its backwards dance in the sky in the air sign of Gemini. Here our communication will be very important. We can take our ideas and re-work them. Revisit old projects that we have put off, and then we need to take the time to complete tasks.
As Mercury continues to travel backwards in the sky, it will then move into the earthy sign of Taurus. This is when we will use the influence of this centered, earth energy to take our thoughts and ideas and recreate them into something solid and stable. We may start revisiting some concrete, practical aspects of our lives to get to the root cause of these…which is…our thinking and communication patterns.

Jupiter is the great teacher, always wanting to help us grow in ways that will magnify the awareness and good fortune in our lives. It shows us how to move beyond our limits so we can realize the amount of potential and opportunity that is available to each of us. It rules travel, language, culture, spirituality and education.
While Jupiter is in the pioneering sign of Aries, expect that there will be plenty of energy for travel and meeting challenges head first. Aries is independent and energetic. Combine this energy with Jupiter’s expansive thoughts and vision, we will have the ability to widen our perspectives. To dive in on a personal level and focus on ourselves as individuals. Aries is the first sign, full of fire and willing to dive in head first. It will be ignited with innovative ideas and intuition while here. At this time, we will want to let go of limits carried from the past and focus on solutions for the future. To walk boldly into uncharted territory. Take risks, succeed, fail, and learn. On May 15/16th (depending on your location/time zone), we will have a full moon lunar eclipse in the deep and watery sign of Scorpio. The most eventful times of the year usually coincide with eclipses. Eclipses are times of alignment. The goal of an eclipse is to remind us of our life purpose. Eclipses bring fast paced shifts, shocking revelations, sudden endings and quick beginnings. They are a realignment meant to put us back on track in life where we have veered off. Scorpio’s energy is highly intuitive and it rules 8th house themes. Scorpio is a fixed, water sign that is fluid. It rules sexuality, shared resources, debt and mystery.
This eclipse in Scorpio is showing us what we need to release from our lives if we want to live in alignment with our true values. Scorpio being the deepest of the water signs is psychic, private, loyal and protective. This is where we may have resistance to fulfilling our collective and soul intentions. We want to move away from being fixated (Scorpio) on the past (South Node). Scorpio can hold grudges and resist the birth, death, rebirth cycle, holding us back from transformation, because of our fear of the unknown. We will need to work to resolve what has gone before so we can experience a full life.
This full moon is part of an 18 month cycle. The previous solar eclipse is where we had things new that were growing, and this lunar eclipse is a winding down in six month increments over this 18 month period. What do you need to release because of burdens?

We are still reeling from the energy of the Scorpio Full Moon and eclipses! Many have new beginnings and transformative endings. All of this is to realign and push you forward on your true path. Eclipses come with such major shifts, jolting us into a new reality that we need time to process the changes. Take time to slow down and work through this energy. To internalize your “New Normal.” Remember that you are clearing a path for new adventures.
On May 20th 2022, The Sun, that represents our ego and soul, enters the shape shifting sign of Gemini. Happy Birthday All Gemini’s!!! Gemini is the third astrological sign in the zodiac.
As a mutable air sign, Gemini represents duality, the exchange of ideas and communication. It is very adaptable and flexible.
